Sometimes in the seeking I'm so overwhelmed by the possibilities that fear paralyses me and I feel like I can barely breathe. The weight of the gift is pressing down on my chest, and I don't know If I'll ever get through it. At this time in my life more than any other, or in fact for the first time in my life, I feel alone. Like a desert island, no ships breaking on my shore. And yet I know I need this. A simple time to gather my thoughts, a pause in time to find my way. But in the silence sometimes all I can hear is my heartbeat. That heavy muscle banging on a steel drum. And so I turn the music louder, to drown it out, wishing away the the thoughts that chase me. But when I dare, I stop and turn down the white noise, and hail to the Creator, I seek an audience with Him. I need more life breath to keep me here. Peace to transcend my weary thoughts. I decided it was time to make something new, but since I've got the flu, nothing too strenuous or mind consuming, and just as I was trawling my way through some other blogs I like, I came across tshirt shredding, or as I prefer to call it un-knitting. I mean thats basically what it is, unpicking a tshirt to make it look cooler than before! But, you know since I'm un-knitting, I'm not really sure if I'm acheiving anything, or if I'm even unachieving. But I guess it depends if my goal is to achieve or create? I'm definitely creating something, I'm just not sure if I like it. But that's the thing with creation, you have to practice your art, until you get so good at it, that even when you're not trying hard it starts to resemble the thing that you're trying to represent. After having passed through an imago of change, life is beginning to open. What was previously closed is now opened. Heartfelt joy is radiating from the centre of your being. Life skips along pleasing to all who take part in it. Philosophical theories are blown out of the water by empirical action. Life in a new world floats along. Mixing social circles bubbles rise inside. Circling from above and below distances appear and recede. Perspective is irrelevant, big is small and dark is light

Dead and broken leaves, floating away on the water, like scattered notes dancing along in the wind. Can you move your feet to keep the rhythm, or are you drowning in a haze of grey? Wherever did the sunshine go, can you bring it back for me? I can hear the music playing but it's fading away again. Near to you there is warmth like a raging fire, let me stay here near to you. Is that really what you come for, to meet and talk with me? In  your voice there is fearless assurance, I know with you I'm free. Can you take me to see my maker? See the truth in this life that is real. Rid me of fears from the past, take a peak at this way to the future,  just a moment would help me sleep.
